CONWAY — After being brought in three sections via flatbed trailer over the Kancamagus Highway from Lincoln early Tuesday, the fabled Flying Yankee was back on the former Boston & Maine Railroad tracks now owned by the Conway Scenic Railroad by 11:41 a.m. for the first time since the sleek, 1935-vintage locomotive was retired in 1957.

NH Hampshire Adopts Updates to Fire Code

Effective August 13, 2024, the State Fire Code will be updated to the 2021 editions of NFPA 1 and NFPA 101

NH State Building Code Update in effect as of July 1, 2024

Effective July 1, 2024 the NH State Building Code adopts the 2021 Editions of the IBC, IRC, IPC, IMC & IEBC. Please Note that the 2018 Edition of the International Energy conservation Code remains adopted. These Codes are in effect, though the previously adopted 2018 Editions may still be used for projects permitted through January 1, 2025.
